Precautions Before & After for Botox® treatment
Always follow the specific instructions from your healthcare provider. This is a general guide for precautions to take before and after a treatment.
Please avoid botulinum toxin treatments if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Please don't take aminoglycoside antibiotics or aspirin one week before the injection.
Kindly refrain from consuming alcohol for 24 hours prior to the procedure.
Please stop taking vitamin E, fish oil, and Panax notoginseng (Tianqi) 3-5 days prior to treatment.
Please avoid lying down for 4 to 6 hours after the injection to prevent the dispersion of the medication.
Kindly avoid washing your face or applying makeup for 6 hours post-injection. Also, please do not massage the treated area or do heavy exercise during this time.
Please refrain from alcohol for 24 hours and avoid spicy foods, seafood, smoking, and alcohol for one week.
We recommend avoiding saunas and hot springs for at least one week after your treatment.
After facial slimming injections, try to avoid eating hard foods.
Please do not have facial massages, scraping therapies, rubbing, or apply heat to the face for one month after injections for wrinkle reduction and facial slimming.
