Precautions before & after for Alma ClearLift Laser Lifting
Always follow the specific instructions from your healthcare provider. This is a general guide for precautions to take before and after a treatment.
Avoid sun exposure for one week before your appointment.
Stop using retinol or other acid-based skincare products 7 days prior to treatment.
Follow a gentle cleansing and moisturizing routine 1-2 weeks in advance.
Stay hydrated, especially a few days before, and moisturize your skin thoroughly the night before.
On the day of treatment, please bathe and wash your hair at home, and wear loose, low-neckline clothing.
You may wash your face and apply makeup as usual.
Avoid using retinol/retinoids for one week after the procedure.
For one month, please avoid excessive sun exposure. It's highly recommended to use a physical sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher daily and reapply it as needed. For enhanced protection, consider using hats, masks, or other physical methods.
Precautions before & after for fractional laser treatment
Always follow the specific instructions from your healthcare provider. This is a general guide for precautions to take before and after a treatment.
Individuals with a tendency to form keloids or hypertrophic scars.
Patients with severe diabetes or hypertension.
Active vitiligo, psoriasis, or systemic lupus erythematosus.
Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or during menstruation are advised against undergoing this treatment.
Avoid chemical peels for two weeks prior to your session.
Stop using retinoids one month before your appointment.
Cease using retinol, glycolic acid, and salicylic acid a week ahead of time.
Consider a mesotherapy or HydraFacial Treatment 1-2 weeks before your scheduled treatment.
Abstain from alcohol two days prior to the procedure.
The night before: Please cleanse, moisturize, and apply a hydrating mask.
On the day of treatment: Please refrain from wearing makeup, take a shower, wash your hair, and wear comfortable, loose clothing.
Gently remove Vaseline using a sterilized scraper in the morning and evening, dab any blood with sterile saline cotton/gauze, and apply a thin layer of Vaseline.
Continue this routine on day 3 and 4.
On day 5, please wash your face with water and apply the recommended recovery products.
By day 7, please use a gentle cleanser to wash your face and apply a mild moisturizer.
Avoid strenuous exercise for one week after surgery to prevent sweating and avoid wearing a mask.
Eat light meals and avoid spicy foods, seafood, alcohol, and photoreactive foods like spinach and lemon for a week.
Maintain strict sun protection: wear hats and masks until any scabs fall off, use physical sunscreen with SPF 30+ and reapply as necessary, and continue wearing hats and masks.
Wash your face gently, avoid rubbing, and allow scabs to fall off naturally.
